Barbara J. LoPresti CPA is the owner and sole proprietor of LoPresti & Company, LLC. Her practice began in the McMurray, Pennsylvania area in 1997, and remains there today. Prior to starting her practice, Barb was a Tax Manager at Schneider Downs and a Taxation Specialist for Federated Investors.

Barb’s firm services individuals and closely held businesses focusing on the areas of individual, trust, and business taxation, tax planning and return preparation, business consulting and start-up, bookkeeping, and IRS representation.

Barb was a 1980 graduate of Clarion University of Pennsylvania earning a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a 1990 graduate of Robert Morris University earning a Master of Science in Taxation.

Barb is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and a past member of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants, where she has served on various member committees over the years. Barb also served as a governing board member of the Arthritis Foundation. Barb is an active member of WOMEN of Southwestern PA.
